Arthur and Lorene Delgado Collection of Manuel Delgado Papers,

Scope and Content Collection consists primarily of the military papers of Manuel Delgado (a captain in the Spanish Army), 1778-1794. Most of the documents concern administrative matters related to several presidios in northern New Spain. Other topics include military desertions, military benefits, financial accounts, a land conveyance in Santa Fe, and judicial proceedings.

Scope and Content This small collection consists primarily of reminiscences of Flora Spiegelberg, including original typewritten manuscripts of brief articles and published articles. Also included is a manuscript about Flora Spiegelberg and the Spiegelberg family written in 1975. The articles by Spiegelberg primarily concern life in the Territory of New Mexico in the late 19th century. Other articles are about New York City where the Spiegelbergs lived after leaving New Mexico.

Laguna Mission Press Collection

Scope and Content This small collection contains pages from two editions of McGuffey's First Reader; reports from John Menaul, and a catechism, all printed at Laguna on the Laguna Mission Press. There is also a news clipping from the New York Times about Miss Jospehine Foord, who was sent to Laguna to organize pottery making among the Pueblo Indians.

The collection contains bilingual materials in English and Keres.
